Spoilers of Dragon Ball Super Episode 97
The moment Goku and the warriors of the different universes have been preparing for around 40 hours (in Dragon Ball time) is here! In Dragon Ball Super episode 97 (Survive! The Curtain Finally rises on the Tournament of Power!!) the warriors of the various universes in the Dragon Ball world gather atop the fighting arena.
A total of 80 warriors from the eight universes participating in the Tournamnt of Power assemble at the fighting arena in the World of Void. While it is usually all fun and games for our hero Son Goku, he has an additional purpose for battling with the other warriors – to help save his universe from the fate of a potential looming destruction!
The warriors will await the gong for the match to begin at the start of the episode, but then Present and Future Omni-King finally announce the beginning of the survival match where the losing universes shall be annihilated! The fuse will be lit for the fierce battle royal! As the leader of Universe 7, can Gohan put his for victory into action? Finding a means of survival in group tactics, he passes his strategy on to his teammates. However, the outlook is starting to look grim as multiple people, Frieza especially, goes out and acts on his own. What will Frieza do as Universe 7’s God of Destruction Beerus helplessly watches on pins and needles?! We’ll have to watch Dragon Ball Super episode 97 on July 2, 2017 to find out!
