Jiren is the strongest character in the Tournament of Power right now. He belongs to Universe 11’s Pride Troopers, and is their Strongest member, obviously. Jiren was hyped by Toppo when Goku fought him. Ever since then, we’ve had unbelievable Jiren hype. We’ve seen Jiren do stuff that nobody has ever done before.
He was able to fight against Goku, and utterly destroy him in battle, despite the usage of Super Saiyan Blue, and Kaio-ken x20. He even took the spirit bomb head on, and deflected it with a glare. He disqualified Hit as if it was nothing. I don’t think that there any doubt about it. There is nobody right now who can manage to fight against Jiren right now. The only one who put up a certain amount of fight was Goku.
After Goku awakened the powers of his Ultra Instinct, he was able to fight back against Jiren, and even overpower him for a while. But, that was temporary. Soon, Goku lost his Ultra Instinct and was knocked away by Jiren, and that was when Hit emerged out of nowhere, only to get knocked out after just one episode. Jiren’s powers is beyond any match, and after eliminating Hit, he started meditating, because there was nobody worth fighting him anymore.
But, I think we can all agree on the fact that there is going to someone who breaks him out of his meditation, and actually lands a hit. Right now, the most obvious one would be Goku. However, I really don’t think that’s the case.
Right now, Goku is busy fighting with Kale and Caulifla. From the spoilers, it is pretty clear that he is going to keep fighting them for sometime, and there are even rumours about a new Kale and Caulifla fusion, which we may find out about in episode 114 of Dragon Ball Super. It is definitely going to be someone else and in my opinion, it is going to be someone from Universe 7.
I think it is going to be Vegeta. We saw Toppo cross Vegeta’s path in the previous episode, and we all know Toppo is very strong. But, I believe that Vegeta will show is his Trump card, and deal with Toppo, and later go and fight against Jiren. Of course, there’s no way that he can win as he is now, but after Vegeta gains some powerup, he might actually be able to do it.
