Hey guys. We have finally got THE episode that we were waiting for. Dragon Ball Super episode 122 is finally out and once you watch it, you just can’t stop talking about it. It says a lot about the exceptional quality of the episode. Today was one of the few times when I said to myself, “This episode was too short.” It doesn’t happen very often that an episode leaves you wanting more.The main highlight of the episode was undoubtedly the fight between Jiren and Vegeta.
The build-up to the fight was awesome. Vegeta was given a proper smacking when he attacked Jiren the first time. However, as we know that this time Vegeta’s pride was at stake, he wouldn’t go down without a fight. Vegeta read Jiren’s movements and shocked him with a punch to the gut. Whis pointed out that Vegeta was trying to achieve Ultra Instinct.
Vegeta also took a powerful attack, and it was supposed to trigger Vegeta’s ultra instinct just like when Goku awakened it after getting hit by the enormous spirit bomb. Jiren’s attack was meant to be the catalyst for Vegeta to achieve Migatte no Gokui. However, Vegeta confirmed that he doesn’t want Ultra Instinct and he would take down Jiren in his own way. That was pretty badass.
Also, this episode answered a big question which had been coming up after the recently leaked images of DBS 122. Fans were confused where was Beerus and why Arak was sitting with Universe. In today’s episode, we finally got the answer and it was quite simple. Zeno-sama’s orders. After the elimination of several universes, the bleachers were empty and there was just too much space. So, the Grand Priest took the matter into his own hands and reduced the area over which the bleachers were spread.
He reduced the space and thus the Gods of Destructions and the Angels ended up sitting close to each other. This explains why all of them were sitting together. Actually, it brings more fun and increases the intensity of the Tournament. So, a really nice move by the Grand Priest.
With the pressure increasing with each passing episode, it will be really amazing to see the Gods mocking each other. Also, there are just 8 minutes remaining in the Tournament of Power so expect a lot of good things coming your way. That’s it from me.
