UNIVERSE 11 CHEATING? WHY TOPPO BECAME THE NEW GOD OF DESTRUCTION

After a long time of being a funny side-character, Toppo is now finally stepping in the middle of the spotlight. Spoilers points out that he will be the newest God of Destruction for Universe 11. That is a big power-up since being a God of Destruction, he can now do things that he couldn’t, like using God Ki naturally.

This makes the plot more interesting. Now that he will finally ascend as the new God of Destruction, Toppo would be at the next level. I know this is cool and such, but before everything else, what happened to Belmod, the current God of Destruction of Universe 11?

This is my take on what really happened to Belmod. There are previous theories about how he is transferring energy to Jiren, that is why Jiren is very OP. But what if he is actually doing something else that can still affect the Tournament of Power but instead of using Jiren, he will use Toppo? The start of Belmod’s move will be triggered by Dypso’s defeat.

Dypso might be the weakest Pride Trooper present on the stage right now, but he is still necessary for Universe 11’s survival. With Universe 7’s advantage in the number of warriors remaining, eliminating Dypso will make a threat to Universe 11 and chance for Universe 7. And we know that Dypso will eventually get eliminated. Because of this advantage, Universe 11’s next move is to make the remaining two warriors stronger than before. The easiest thing that Belmod could do is to make Toppo the new God of Destruction.

Where’s the cheating there? Outside involvement was never allowed in the Tournament of Power unless it will be necessary for an attack such as Goku’s Spirit Bomb; or if their power simple works that way, like in Universe 2’s case, Declaring Toppo as a new God of Destruction for a power-up is cheating because by doing so, Universe 11 will have a GoD as a participant. The effect is as if Universe 11 switched their player and GoD. Because of this, Belmod can be erased like how Frost met his fate.
