Hey everyone! I’m back here with another dose of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations theory. The theory that I’m going to discuss is about the identity of Kashin Koji and the latest update on Kawaki-Urashiki connection. Also, this theory does contain a lot of possible spoilers. So, if you do not want to read spoilers stay away from this post.
So, without any further delay let us begin
First, let us talk a bit about Kashin Koji. Kashin Koji, in my opinion, is the coolest character right now in Boruto series. Kashin Koji himself says that he believes that he shares some sort of connection with Konohagakure and does seem to be linked with it. Well, the connection is obvious as he can summon toads and in the latest chapter, it is also revealed that he can even use the Rasengan. Well, the use of essential has changed the picture a bit.
We all know that Rasengan was invented by Boruto’s grandfather, Minato Namikaze. Only people in the Naruto universe who know how to use Rasengan are connected to Minato in some way. Jiraiya learned from Minato, Kakashi probably learned from Minato and wanted to add nature release but settled for Raikiri.
Naruto learned from Jiraiya, Konohamaru learned from Naruto, and Boruto from Konohamaru. With this list, it can be deduced that the only two people that could have taught Kashin Koji Rasengan would be Jiraiya or Minato, assuming he is an old student or relative of some sort to either of them.
Also, he then calls Konohamaru by name without him even saying a word about himself. This clearly confirms that someone is leaking Konohagakure’s information to Kara otherwise I do not think that Kashin Koji should be knowing all these details. This provides us some more hints on the identity of Kashin Koji.
Now, let us talk about Kara. I think that Kara is a much bigger organization than Akatsuki. Kara as we know consists of inner members and outer members. There are seven inner members and one outer member of Kara. There will be certainly more members we will see in the future. Jigen is supposedly the leader of Kara.
I strongly think that Kawaki will be one of the inner members of Kara as he has an Otsutsuki curse mark. Also, I think that the members of Kara hunt down Otsutsuki clan members to steal their powers. This makes them even a greater threat than Otsutsuki clan. Kara seems like an organization which is even financially sound and has a big base of operations. Now, coming to Kawaki and Boruto Uzumaki and their respective powers.
Thus far, whatever Boruto Uzumaki’s Karma seal does is similar to Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki’s powers. Momoshiki Otsutsuki has the power to absorb jutsu and release them with greater power, while in chapter 23, Boruto showed he was doing the first part, that is, the absorption part. Now in Kawaki’s case, it was mentioned by Mitsuki that the destroyed puppet near the crash was as cold as if it had been there for a long time.
That could be perceived as it is sat there for the exact amount of time before Konohamaru arrived, or that it is connected to Urashiki Ōtsutsuki’s power that he shows against Toneri. Meaning Boruto Uzumaki’s Karma seal’s power could be to absorb jutsu and release it and Kawaki has a time manipulation power. We all said “Where did Naruto get sent to” at the beginning of Boruto, well he was probably sent to the Palace of the Dragon King, exactly where Urashiki Ōtsutsuki sent Toneri Otsutsuki
Thus, we can safely say that Boruto Uzumaki is connected to Kashin Koji as Kashin Koji will certainly be someone who knows either Jiraiya or Minato Namikaze and both of these are related to Boruto. The latest chapter dropped a huge hint about Koji’s connection to Jiraiya and Minato. Also, I think this theory proves that Urashiki Otsutsuki will be killed by Kawaki. I hope the proof I gave above can suffice my point.
