THE ACTUAL RULES FOR TOURNAMENT OF POWER ~ LOVE DBS

The Universal Survival is without a doubt one of the most significant arc in DBS. It has several Universes appearing in it, and only one of them can survive. Every single fighter is fighting for life and the survival of their universe. At this point, it’s unclear which universe will win.

In the last episode, we saw Potara Fusion between Kale and Caulifla.
Many fans are Confused about The Rules of ‘Tournament of Power’ and Debating Over how Universe 6 warriors can use Potara earrings.

So here are the rules of Tournament of Power.

Fighters cannot be killed, use healing items, Or use weapons during the match.

So apparently, they can’t use any outside things and can only use techniques, which means no Senzu beans, The use of weapons like sword and guns is restricted. So as per the rules, just martial art techniques will be allowed.

However, items that are Harmless by themselves such as the bottle Master Roshi uses as part of the Mafuba were permitted by the Zeno Sama, though it is implied that was because they thought the Mafuba technique was cool.

Potara fusion is allowed Because Potara Earring is not a lethal weapon that can directly harm others.

A warrior is eliminated only when he falls off of the fighting stage

Here when a Fighter is unable to battle and collapses on the fighting stage, dropping them out of the arena is necessary. Now, this is fascinating since if someone just collapses out of exhaustion and luckily no one sends them out of the stage, they are still in battle. Consider the end of the time limit, and as the winning criteria and the rules suggest, this unconscious fighter might count as the one still on stage and in the fight.

The tournament consists of a single match with all 80 fighters battling at the same time. The Tournament will last for 100 taks, which equates to roughly 48 minutes.

Grand Priest mentions about the time limit for the tournament of power. He says that the match will go on for 100 taks. Whis interprets that 100 taks will be about 48 minutes according to earth time.

Fighters are unable to use Flight.

Flying techniques are nullified keeping each Warrior grounded. The tournament will test opponents based on their power alone so no flying tricks will keep them safe.

Each Fighter will experience the natural level of gravity from their Own World, So they can fight at their full capacity and compete on equal terms against other Warriors.

When all ten warriors of a Universe are eliminated, that Universe is immediately erased by Zen-Oh and Future Zen-Oh.

Any knocked out fighter try to attempt to intervene against the contestants currently in the arena will immediately be erased by Zen-Oh. Another offense by another opponent in the same universe will result in Zen-Oh erasing said universe.

The Universe with the most fighters by the end of the Tournament will be the victor.

The rule is that the Last universe that is going to stand will win. If more than one universe holds at the end of time, then the one with the most members in the ring will win.If all other Universes are defeated before the time limit expires, and the surviving Universe will be the victor.
