The Universe 3 made an explosive display of strength in the last episode of Dragon Ball Super. It might not be an explosive transformation, but the usual mecha gattai is surely a fresh of breath air for us Dragon Ball fans. And not only that, we get to see Gohan saving Vegeta and Goku, isn’t that great? Koichiarator is the mecha of Universe 3 made by Dr. Paparoni. Although the name and the design are not awesome, it was shown that they can make Gohan go full power.
Dr. Paparoni is a key player for Universe 3. What is noticeable about him is his mysterious smile and his power-cane. For some reason, in his every apperance, he keeps spinning his power cane in a similar way. There is a great posibility that the power cane is actually his remote control for Koitsukai, Panchia, and Bollarator.
Aside from Katopesla and Maji-Kayo, Dr. Paparoni is the only participant of Universe 3 that is not a mecha. He is a ningen and is obviously the manipulator of Universe 3’s other warriors. I think Dr. Paparoni is actually breaking a ToP rule. And that rule is the prohibition of the use of any weapons.
By controlling other warriors, even though they are his teammates, he is using them as weapons against other fighters. It is not teamwork because the other mechs are controlled based on Dr. Paparoni’s will. The power cane is not also a support item like Ribrianne and Universe 2’s support item.
The power-cane is also not an accessory item like Master Roshi’s Mafuba Jar because the usage of Mafuba Jar is what completes the attack. Instead, Dr. Paparoni uses the power-cane as a tool to use his real weapons: the mechas that he controls. Since he is using these mechas to harm other fighters, this might count as weapon usage. Universe 3’s workaround for this is by enlisting its mechas as warriors, that is why they are eliminated when they fall off the ring.
Of course, this is just my take on the episode today. If you agree or disagree, you can give me a shout-out in the comment box below.
