Dragon Ball Super’s Tournament of Power is at its climax right now, with Universe 11, and Universe 7 fighting it out between them. I think a lot of fans predicted the Tournament of Power’s finalists to be these two. Right now, there are only the strong ones left on each side. All the weak ones have been eliminated, and we have some mouth watering fights going on right now.
Goku and Vegeta are fighting against Jiren. Freeza is fighting Dyspo. Meanwhile, Gohan and 17 are fighting against Toppo. I’m mainly going to talk about Dragon Ball Super Episode 126 from here onward. Please note that this post contains spoilers. If you’re not okay with reading them, I suggest you don’t continue. However, if you don’t mind being spoiled, then let’s get straight into the discussion.
As you all know Vegeta will be awakening a new power in Dragon Ball Super Episode 123. There have been lots of theories on what the form is, and I think we’ve got it narrowed down to Ultra Instinct, or Perfected Super Saiyan Blue. It’s either one, or the other. However, the interestingly thing is the title for Episode 126 of Dragon Ball Super. The title for Episode 125 is “Surpass even the Gods! Vegeta’s Life Risking Blow”.
Now most people think that Vegeta is going to try some kind of attack here. But, apparently that is not the case. According to translator KenXyro, Vegeta’s Life Risking blow is something similar to Kaio-ken. Remember how Goku said he might mess up his body if he used Kaio-ken? It is a similar situation here. So Vegeta is getting another power up in Dragon Ball Super Episode 126.
As the title suggests, he is able to go beyond the level of Gods here. Now, the term Gods could refer to any God. It might even refer to Super Saiyan Blue. But, I think it refers to the Gods of Destruction here. Vegeta is going to reach the same level as them, or maybe go even beyond those people. I think his new form will take him beyond the levels that we’ve ever seen before.
Also, it doesn’t make sense for Vegeta to try out his power on Jiren 3 episodes after he awakens his form. Even though Vegeta gains his power in the next Episode, he attacks Jiren with something in Episode 126. That doesn’t make sense. It seems to me that Vegeta powers up to a new form in Episode 126 of Dragon Ball Super. Either that, or he begins to show signs of Ultra Instinct as well. That’s my take on it.
