‘Dragon Ball Super’: The origin of the Saiyans and Yamoshi’s power

Hey guys! How’s it going on?! I know it’s barely been a month since Dragon Ball Super got over but it feels like eternity. Don’t you think the same? I used to keep on checking for new Dragon Ball Super episodes, that by some chance they are just joking and they will air a new episode or something. Well, that’s not the case.

The last “Dragon Ball Super” arc produced one of the most powerful enemies in the franchise and even the anime in general. Jiren, from the eleventh universe (he is labeled a villain because there is no adjective that describes him), has far exceeded the power of the Gods of Destruction.

Analysis : For this occasion, we will have to assume that the new villain is Yamoshi (The Legendary Saiyan) as has been speculated. Yamoshi is currently on the minds of fans, not only because he was seen fighting against Goku in the preview, and because he’s the only one that can fit into this category.

Dragon Ball Super : The origin of the Saiyans and Yamoshi’s power. Being the first Super Saiyan who managed to attain divinity. He’s proclaimed as the most powerful warrior of this breed, giving him the necessary foundation to be able to measure up to the protagonist of this series. Thanks to some newly released information, fans now know a little more about this.

The basic principle of the series : There’s a dynamic that has been at play since the beginning of Akira Toriyama’s anime and it has been used on several occasions when the series has wanted to give meaning to events: “A new threat will come to disturb the peace on Earth. This will push Goku to break his limits once again.”

Since the last threat to Earth was the leader of the Pride Troopers, this character will be the measuring stick to compare the power that the new villain will have. Will this Saiyan be more powerful than Jiren? The answer may be yes, however, it’s more than likely that this will not be the case.

It became clear to most fans that Goku could not match the power of Jiren without the aid of Ultra Instinct at its most powerful, therefore, the protagonist is not yet a worthy opponent for the warrior from the eleventh universe. Now that Goku can’t attain Ultra Instinct, his most powerful transformation is the Super Saiyan Blue.
